(This is a required webpage for my class, and I'll probably hide it later...)
-- I have learned a lot of things about art that I would have direly missed had I not done this class. By creating this webpage, have also learned about the rigors of the internet, and how awsome (or embarrasing) a website can be, depending on how much work you put into it. While I already have a webpage, I didn't have a part in developing it. This was a great new experience for me, and I can now see that it can take a LOT of work to make something good, and not just when making art! I really like some of the features that this website has, such as a comment system that can be put anywhere on the site, and the fact that it is filled with original artworks, and they contribute to how good this site is. While I enjoy using the computer programs that I've used over this school year, the program that I could do much better in is InDesign. This is mainly because while Photoshop and Illustrator are artistically-oriented, InDesign is printed-product oriented. It truly is difficult to become good at producing a page layout that is less of an eyesore, and more of a way to help you read the product. While this page is currently a wall of text, it would be much easier to read if I put in pictures, or even better, added a column down the middle. But I'm not going to do that, am I? No, of course I will! Later, though. :/ While I do enjoy creating my artwork, just for the fun of it, it makes it a lot more fun knowing that some of it will go on this website. Based on all the time I've put into this website, I would say that this website deserves an "A." Also, because there are mistakes and things that I just don't care to finish in my artworks, I would say that my artwork should get around a "B-" or just a "B."
